Endowment terminal Bonus?

We have an Endowment with Friends Life that is due to finish in December this year. The original amount to be covered was £47500. My friends life (ex nma) is payable on 14th June,no terminal bonus for me!
It was supposed to pay 30k,warning letters over the years said 24k then 20k then 18k then back to 21k,it has a projected payout of £21.7k.
Could have been worse but just glad to get rid of it having addressed the shortfall years ago.
