My concern was mainly about managers saying things like I am expensive etc. in front of people and basically taking the p..ss about that.I am not about arguing about the hours - I work long enough to understand how this company works.
Fair enough. Have you ever discussed this with them though? If you work there for a long time, I assume you have sort of relationship with them to enable you have this "pep-talk" - just ask them to stop saying things in front of others and explain them it is not helping.
Don't think there is anything "legal" you can do but if it is an established company, you can talk to HR as well.
Plenty of people hear crap from their own manager - it is not really a legal issue.ally.0
