Mortgage after Trust Deed

Really hoping someone can give me a steer on Scottish conveyancing and Trust Deeds. I have read so much online but it all talks about IVA and has left me confused:
1) is it possible to get a mortgage after Trust Deed? I had mine protected in Nov 2008 and was discharged in March 2012.
2) I know it is no longer visible on any of my credit accounts but are Trust Deeds registered in the same way as IVA against the Land Registry? If so does it show on the k16 search? I have read conflicting reports that things fall of the k16 after 5 years but is this like a credit file 5 years from taking it out provided. its satisfied.
I know if I am asked I need to declare it but I would like to know what information is held about me too.
3) are there any lenders that might be worth an approach based on people's experiences
Thanks
