How long before you won your first competition?

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum but I have been entering comps for around 5 months now but I have yet to win anything. I enter roughly 50 competitions a day, sometimes more. How long did you enter competitions for before you won something? I love entering as it's exciting to think you could win something at the end....maybe one day! I'm learning to drive at the moment so money is tight and even the smallest of wins would perk me up!

Comping is a "hobby" - winning is a bonus

Sorry, but if you expect to win then maybe this is not the "hobby" for you.

Some people on here enter over 1000 competitions a day (See the May Challenge thread in CCC), and may have 1 win a month (that's 30,000 entries to win 1 prize).... whilst some people have been entering for years and never won anything ....... it's not a get rich quick scheme that you may have read about.
