Borrowing More from Nationwide

I will be buying my brother out of the house we both live in early next year.
Will the timeframe be the same as if I was borrowing off Nationwide for the first time or will it be shorter (just reading some of the delays people have been writing about on here)?
It's effectively me taking on the current mortgage by myself, and borrowing more to pay my brother off.
Same mortgage company, same house etc.

Will still take time. As there's the various stages to be gone through to obtain a mortgage. NW won't have a different process as such.0
