does the OP know that INC funds are not 'necessary' to withdraw cash from their account?0

I am sure you are sad to lose your mother's pet but I gather from previous posts that its health had been deteriorating for a while.
With regard to yield I notice that the Income and Growth Trust Inc offers 3.61%.
The above also pays monthly, so if yield and monthly income is your major concern perhaps you should be reading the fact sheet on that as well?
Thank you, that looks like a better deal - how straightforward would it be to to swap my ISA Acc holding to this Inc one please - the settlement date for the Acc isn't until tomorrow so presumably I could phone HL on Monday morning, after the holding has 'bedded in' if this is the correct term?0 -
Do you have internet access? You can buy/sell on line.
Otherwise give HL a ring. Don't forget to check the ex div date.0 -

Thanks, I prefer to talk to someone at the moment, I am not confident enough to start things going myself yet, on the computer, although I do access my HL page online.
What is an 'ex div date' please?0 -

The ex div date for this fund was 1 Aug as can be seen on the fact sheet.0 -

Thanks - so any income due would be after quite a long wait, but there don't appear to be similar HL holdings carrying similar yields, so I better go for it & be patient?0 -
Now I have an ISA with HL, and I have used up the cap for this year's ISA investment, I'd like to transfer a small ISA my late mother held with M&G into a High Yield Corporate Bond Fund OEIC. How does this sound please?
I looked at a Global Growth Fund

Is it also possible to evaluate M&G holdings from TrustNet?
Thank you0 -
Probate having been granted, the investment with M&G now stands in your name?
In which fund is it currently invested? It might be possible to transfer it in specie to your HL Vantage Fund and Share if you would find this administratively more convenient. It could then be sold within Vantage and the proceeds reinvested in another fund.
The Global Growth fund is not a bond fund. It can be found on Trustnet.
If you look at the HL website under Fund Prices and Research, you can click on sector and look up Corporate Bonds/High Yield Bonds/Global Bonds.0 -

Probate has been granted, yes. M&G have said they will transfer mum's old ISA to me as an OEIC, but I need to confirm this in writing first. In which fund is it currently invested? It is an M&G holding - I'd prefer to keep it with M>he Global Growth fund is not a bond fund. It can be found on Trustnet.

Thanks. What advantages / disadvantages are there in having this growth fund transferred to me as an OEIC. Might I not receive income from it please?0 -
An M&G fund can be held in your Vantage account.

It is an OEIC so I don't quite understand what you mean by transferring it to you as OEIC - you mother had an ISA with M&G and held this fund or perhaps the Acc version?
It pays income quarterly.
M&G would be able to sell the fund for you and invest it in one of their bond funds if you so wished.0
