Debt Guard Solicitors - anybody any info

Does anybody have any info on the way debt Guard Solicitors work, they are part of Irwin Mitchel, It looks like its a self sevice way a company can issue a collection letter through what appears to be an official solicitor as a way of intimidating somebody into paying up.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Cheers

Just another DCA for rent, part of Irvin Mitchell group.

What's your problem with them ?

Anyone can send a collection letter, seems it's a service they offer, as with all debts, unless they can prove its owed, they can whistle.

Its a letter sent for an alleged debt to one of the customers (I am helpin) from an EPC company called saviepc (google it and you can see this company and its owner [TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM] (google him too) are a scam), they use intimidating tactics to get people to pay for money thats not owed, or they try to defraud out of people. I understand that these threatening letters can be intimidating,

Saviepc has now changed its tactics, with his previous company firstchoiceepc he used to send the letters and court summons himself, but we successfully defended him for a summons he sent us, so now seems he is paying the £2 for the letter from this DCA to try make it look "more" official to intimidate people to pay up.

Thanks for the info .. any more info or anybody had any dealings or experience with them would be interesting to hear from you.
