Been offered a new job but waiting on uni place!

I am applying to study occupational therapy as a mature student, waiting to see if I have been successful after interview!

I currently work in PA role, fixed term until July, but I've also been offered a new role, to start in July. New job obviously wants me to accept ASAP. Current job can't guarantee my contract will be extended until September when I start university (hopefully).

If I don't get on the course I'm still going to need a job. If I do get on the course I really need to work for a couple of months rather than have a gap. Husband will be supporting me financially but I'm saving as a much as I can from my relatively well paid job now.

I could in theory accept new job and leave if I get a place at uni but that's not ideal to do and obviously looks pretty bad on my part!

Unless you then ask to do it part time? Or temp between you leaving your job and going to uni?
