Paying off morgage early

Options
I wonder if anyone could help me. I have a morgage in 2 parts,
-half interest only and
-half repayment morgage.
My half interest only morgage finishes in 5 years and I have a stocks and shares isa which is up to the value that I owe for the interest only part of the morgage. Am I best paying this part of my morgage now or continue paying in to my stocks and shares isa each month until the 5 years is up. (Incidently, my repayment morgage is not finished for another 15 years) Any advice gratefully appreciated.)

What's your back up plan if the stock market dives unexpectedly?

Personally I would prefer to be debt free. Then invest. Knowing that I wouldn't be a forced seller.

How long is a piece of string ?
How well is the stocks and shares ISA doing over the last 1/2/3/5 years.
What interest rate are you paying on both parts of the mortgage.
Age, Income, pension, savings, kids, long term plans etc
You know this information and we have know idea about you !
I have always tried to pay off debt first but today owe more money than ever ;-(
You need to look at how well the S&S ISA is doing and what you would do if you cleared the IO part of the mortgage today.
Hopefully overpay the repayment part of the mortgage each and every month by at least the amount of money you were paying for the Interest only mortgage and the money you invested each month in the ISA.
Do you have emergency savings ?
