Good evening
Any experiences or advice appreciated....
I am a first time buyer and have put an offer in on a house. No chain, the owner passed away.
Mortgage submitted to Natwest, valuation booked for this week. The worry I have is the houses are a row of 4. The property I am buying is one of the middle ones. To access the garden I'd share the ginnel/passageway with the neighbour. A proportion of the property I am buying goes over the passageway. I think this is a flying freehold.
Does anyone know if this causes a problem to my mortgage application?

no issues with a flying threshold - I had a semi where my bedroom was over my neighbours side access.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Not enough info to answer - a small proportion of flying freehold is no problem with that lender (from memory).
Sounds like an ex-council property - that may be a bigger source of issues (not necessarily insurmountable ones, but if pre-emption still in place then you are at wrong lender).Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
