Should I try again

I made an inital complaint to National Mutual, subsequently they have changed their name numerous times. My policy was taken out in 1985 and the financial advisor, I now realise did not give me any paperwork from his organisation only documents from National Mutual, and I have no idea where he is now.

I approached National Mutual in 2004 and they did fob me off with that "National Mutual only provided generic information on the contract and was not acting in the capacity of a financial intermediary"

They are taking my money and still telling me about shortfalls in the policy, although the shortfall is reducing it still may not pay off my capital.I have three more years to go. Should I try again?
