10.8.07 what small dfw/mse thing will you do or have you done today?

Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome old timers and newbies alike :hello:

Welcome to the end of the week!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

So, today I will:
  • check online banking and update spreadsheet
  • start our "holiday from home" week
  • do another matched bet (finally got organised yesterday!)
  • go to the bank and pay in client money
  • send everyone off with pack ups
  • not increase my debt in any way
  • do clicks and surveys
  • be positive!
Have a good day everyone xx

Morning Hypno, it's a wonderful sunny day here so:
    - The washing is already on the line
    - I'm going to be posting out a book sold on Amazon last night
    - Tonight I will cook up the bits and pieces left in the fridge, rather than throwing them away. Including making scones to use up the last of the clotted cream and bunging some fruit into the Rumtopf. :D
    - I really will put somethings on ebay too.....:o

~ Have a minimal spend day, and not use the car at all.

Not much, but better than nothing! x

    Today I have:

spent £5.52 (lunch for me and a friend, chewing gum, a stamp and money towards the tea/ coffee fund at work).

have paid a cheque in for £99.00:j

have tracked down loads of unpaid invoices (bottom line is I'm owed about £600)!!! My boss can't pay me till she's paid, so we are to send nasty letters saying "pay up now" to a few firms of solicitors!

printed out loads of info on Malaga / fuengirola at work and I'll be doing a lot more.

tracked down a colour therapy set for my course (so far saved £40 from the 'special college discount', but I've got four weeks to find an even better deal!!!

Have not spent £4.50 - £5.00 on cigarettes but did spend 30p on chewing gum (this will probably be cited every day until I die, because this is something I never thought I'd manage:o)

To be honest, I still feel like I'm doing loads towards reducing my debt and learning good financial habits!
