surely the number of people affected by the 25K cap is going to be so small that it will have little or no effect?

I know we read in the Daily Mail on a weekly basis about the benefit claiming parents with 15 kids earning 30K plus per year from the tax payer but how many of these are there really in terms of a percentage of the overall population?

I'd be surprised if it was higher than 0.01%!

I thought with that with inelastic commodities, large price changes or consumer income cause less change in turnover, e.g. petrol, food.

Elastic goods/services by contrast can show a big change in demand with a moderate price change or change in consumer income/ability to obtain credit e.g foreign holidays, luxury electronics.

Good spot. For high please read low in my post. Thanks buglawton, a silly error.

Labour won't be making policy at all it seems.

Seems as if Labour are the disunited party currently.

It sounds to me increasingly that they are the Unite party.
