I have tested numerous kinds of instant coffee, including some fairly expensive ones and in my opinion they all taste terrible - instant coffee and fresh coffee do not taste the same at all.

which cafetiere mug you use? does it filter out cafestol? it is essential for me

You moisten the grounds in the paper cone with a gentle sloosh of the boiled water first which then provides a bit of resistance for when the main body of water is poured (gently) on top to percolate through.

Really!!!! It was bought at work by mistake as in the same jars as the normal Nescafe gold. I liked it but most of them at work did not. But then they liked very strong expensive coffee.
