we filled in our mortgage application with Natwest on the 11th april and still havent had a decision. Our broker started putting the pressure on last week as i kept pestering her but still no joy, they have asked for P60s and have asked about salaries, but we have answered their queries. its just doing my head in not knowing one way or the other :-(

Its a bit odd that its taken over a month, they do not normally take that long.

i know i think its strange too, but my broker has said a couple of times now that it wouldnt have gone on this long if they were going to say no. she says she has a few other people applying with natwest and they are still waiting too.
doesnt make me feel any better, wont rest until i know :-(0 -
The good people on these boards are very reassuring and honest too0

That does sound very odd with Natwest. I have applied a few recently and have got the mortgage offer in that time.
If I were in your place, I would ring Natwest directly to make sure everything is ok and the broker is providing with the correct information.0 -
i did think that expert, but dont want to upset the broker. i will give her until the end of the week then i will as it will have been 6 weeks0

I'm so worried as the mortgage offered through and now the lender said that's an issue due to "barking & Dagenham" council made the carer redundant!! And now they brought out a new thing call "PA" which I'm one of them so basically my employers are the elderly (with dementia). I always been straight to halifax bank and explain my situation and how I get paid. And now the bank had an issue with the way I get paid. I'm now on maternity I explain to the mortgage adviser before he constructed the serviour and now we paid all the fee to the bank already. To top it all we booked a holiday to go back to Thailand due to my little girl can meet her family for the first time. We have to cancel the holidays upset and 80s years old great grandparents and we Might not even be able to get the mortgage after all. Can the lender do this as it's not my fault I have been straight from the beginning. We never have any bankruptcy we even declared our loan to them from the start. I feel discriminated against!!!0
