David Lloyd membership - will they negotiate?

I pay nearly £81 per month for membership to David Lloyd gym on a rolling one-month contract. With places like Pure Gym and Buzz Gym charging closer to £20 a month I resent paying so much, but the location of the David Lloyd is convenient.
Does anyone have any experience of getting a discount from David Lloyd. If I say I want to cancel will the offer me anything?
