car boot sale!

Finally got around to having a car boot sale, and managed to sell a pile of tat and made £19.40 after paying £8 for the pitch, so have madea pile of jewellery to sell next time to make some cash for the uniform bill, so watch this space!!

    I love doing car boot sales, I'm so gealous! Standing there at 3am (yes! 3AM!) setting up, batering and haggling, being rained on, running out of change, running out of carrier bags and maybe having a sandwich (that you would have brought with you of course) and a coffee from the food van. Then at the end of it all your toil is well rewarded because the house is clearer and your pockets heavier.

    Carboot sales ROCK! :T
    Well done on clearing some clutter and making money from it :D

  • My kitchen is full of stuff to do a car boot sale at the weekend. Just wondering now how I can get it and 2 kids all in the car :confused:
    5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
    Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
    By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00

    I'm planning to do one on Saturday, just wish my poorly car (a large estate) was back from the Car Hospital, 'cos am gonna have to do it in my son's car which is small so won't be able to take some stuff .............sigh.................just have to do another one I suppose, lol!! Well done on your 'making money outa tat' success!!!!

    uniform bill is the shoe bill for these two for school in sept as have sorted uniform just shoes left to buy now so every penny will help

    Well done..I did one yesterday and after expenses ended up with £42...am going to do another one this week if weather is ok as it poured down yesterday...DD is moving so is giving me some of her stuff!!
