Thinking of buying one of these

something like this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Magnetic-Window-Cleaner-Cleaning-Double-Glazed-Brush_W0QQitemZ190139309689QQihZ009QQcategoryZ112579QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
or perhaps
http://www.pitchwell.com/Shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=81
which can be had from woolworths for 17 quid

Question is - is this a pointless gimmick or a useful tool.

I used to have a signature with links to the League Tables for good/bad shipping charges for Northern Ireland. But I have since learnt that this is against site rules - so they are no longer here! PM me if you need them

Stick to using us window cleaners if you want it done properly. Ill come and give you a quote :)

Tip from the top: Use washing up liquid to wash the window, then use two cloths, one wet to mop up the soap and one dry to shine the window.
Streak free and shiny, just how you like it

In theory they work but the gimmick is not the cleaning, rather the ability to clean from the inside of the window. As such one would expect the results to be no better than using the system on the inside with washing up liquid and water (i.e. not very good).
    2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.
