BBC Film Festival - Sunday September 9th

Don't miss the first BBC Film Festival - a celebration of cinema and film-making right in the heart of Glasgow.
It's a free event with big screens, a big stage show, and showground entertainment.
Throughout the day there'll be live music and dance, screening areas showing a range of films, established and up-and-coming film talent, and big tents with hands-on film activity.
Then in the evening bring your picnic blanket and join thousands of people to watch a blockbuster film on the big screens.
It's a chance for film fans of all ages to watch, find-out about and make their own films.

Saw this advertised on BBC1 last night, the announcer said Spiderman 3 will be shown but there are no details of this on the website.
Suitable for all ages although those under 14 need to have an adult with them.
Just apply for free tickets following the above link, I got an email straightaway saying I had been successful.

I have just filled in my details, but the e-tickect that was emialed to me has the date as 2 Sept, yet the date advertised on the website says 9 Sep!

I have turned up at some things early, but never a week!!!!!

Thanks for that - my e-ticket also says the end September but the web site clearly stated it is the 9th - just hope the weather's good.

I didn't even notice the date at the start of email, mine's also says 2nd but underneath on the part about it being an e ticket it states the date as 9th September next to the ticket reference number, so I wouldn't worry about it.
