My local Sainsbury's in South Croydon, Surrey, has today a Managers Special on Terry's Chocolate Orange reducing them from £1.99 to 19p! :j

Picked up 10...no they're not all for me!

Should have mentioned they had a good hundred or two there, but the reason for the reduced price was presumably that the Chocolate Oranges are best before May 2005.

I'm already down to 7.5 - one went to younger sister, wife polished one off tonight whilst I was out for a beer, then upon my return I couldn't resist tucking in too..

Is it likely that it might just be a local thing tho - if it was a particular batch that has an early BBE ??

Possibly local, but I couldn't say for sure...they had so many there I'd be surprised if some other Sainsbury's didn't also have some to get rid of.

nothing like this in my two local Sainsburys either so I think this was probably just a Manager's moment of madness in your area
