Mortgage approved and SC clearance

Hello there,
I have my mortgage approved by Nationwide and the build is not complete yet as it is a new build. I have paid my deposit though and exchanged contracts. There is still 2 months time for build completion. Meanwhile for a new project in my current job my employer, requested a SC clearance and I would be going through that process. Would that impact my credit rating and would there be a risk of Nationwide pulling out at last minute if there are any credit change due to SC clearance? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance. :-)

There will be no impact on your credit rating whatsoever.
I speak from personal experience going through both the SC/DV processes.0 -
Thanks mate for the response. Much appreciated. :beer:0

Agreed - I am DV cleared. The clearance officer will not calculate any kind of credit score - they will want to know that you are not over committed etc0
