finding it impossible to get through to case worker/no call backs when promised!

Every time I phone up for an update on a variation request I submitted a month ago and to find out about missed payments I end up speaking to someone from the overflow line who can't do anything to assist or a completely different caseworker who doesn't know anything about my case and the caseworker seems to change as when I ask who they are it's a different name. After this happening 6 times I asked for a call back from the caseworker and surprise surprise it didn't happen.

I have been promised call backs before about a different matter that never happened and tried making a complaint and was promised it was referred on and a more senior person would call, that never happened either and they never followed the complaints procedure or even logged my complaint, as I have did a subject access and no complaint was ever logged.

I sent an email on the online portal today to notify that a promised call back didn't happen but I guess that will be ignored too.

I can't be the only one who has to put up with this?

My plan of action is to phone every day and request call backs from the named caseworker, but why the hell should I have to do this.

How do other people fare with the child maintenance service?
