Fab gel nail varnish cheap!

Sorry if anybody has already posted about this but felt I had to share just in case...

I have recently discovered a fab new gel nail varnish in Wilkos. It involves a base coat a colour coat and a top coat just like shellac but no lamp is needed. The finish is flawless! Super high shine, long lasting and hard wearing, I did my nails a week ago and not a single chip yet! :j

It is in the Wilkos Essence range. Top and base coats cost £2.50 each and the colours are incredible value at only £1.60 a bottle. Loads of lovely colours to pick from too.

what size are the bottles? can't find where it states it anywhere, guessing 10ml or 12ml? i'll be sticking with my gelish gel polish for fingers but this seems like it would be great for toes, some lovely colours

The bottles are all 8ml (colours and base/top coat). I might have popped into Wilko's on the way home tonight

Is gel nail polish easy to remove? Do you have to use a special remover or will my bog-standard Cutex stuff do the job?

I've seen the Wilco range in store and would love to try it but I can't wear nail polish at work so I need to be able to remove it easily on a Sunday night!

the wilko one isn't a true 'gel' polish, so should come off easily enough with any remover.

i use gelish that you cure under an LED lamp & that is removed with acetone & takes 10-12 mins. for 21 days wear with no chips etc., it's no hassle.

Barry M do a range too and today I saw a Rimmel (?) one in Poundland.

Thanks for posting that OP! I didn't know Wilkos did them. Can't be bothered faffing about with a lamp etc, so these sound great! Fab range of colours too!
