Me and my partner are just looking at his credit report on Equifax (already checked Experian)
All is fine except a default showing with Virgin Mobile.
It changes from green to red in August 2012, so presume it has been in default since then.
The entry says:
Status; In Arrears
Current balance; £275
Default/Delinquent balance; £304
Date last delinquent: 05/15
They never send him any letters about it so what should he do?
As we are looking to apply for a joint mortgage in the next year or 2 I'm guessing he cant just leave it?

He says that he did have a contract with Virgin mobile but he's adamant he doesn't owe them anything.
Not sure whether to make contact with them or just leave it0 -
It stays for 6 years from default date.
Worth at least finding out why it's there and if it's legitimate.
Send them a written complaint stating you found the default and require evidence why they are reporting it as he's not aware of defaulting.
