Just make up a reason such as you are racist, or you have problems concentrating. I'm sure this is pretty easy to dodge.0

The chances are you will get a couple of mundane short trials over the standard two weeks. If you do get a more "interesting" long trial then you will be able to claim double the normal allowance after the first 10 days. If you are not a high earner then this may cover your losses.
It's unlikely that you will be able to get out of this although you might be able to defer your service to a later date.0
