tax codes

Hi,

I have a new job starting either Friday or next Monday. However I haven't handed in my notice yet with my current job.

If I hand my notice in tomorrow it will mean that I am still technically employed with them until next Thursday.

Despite this, when I start my new job, it will be the only job I plan to work in.

Do I still need to hand in my notice with my old job to avoid being taxed too much in new job? confused...

I'm confused - how you will start a new job without giving notice to old one ?

Expect your current job to be pretty annoyed when you don't turn up for work as scheduled. I hope your new employment isn't dependent on a good reference from the old one, because you'll be shooting yourself in the foot. I can't be bothered to address your tax question as you seem to have no concept of how to act properly when changing jobs.
