Remortgating - drop in salary/affordability

I have discussed it but I am reluctant to go into too much detail as I know I won't pass the affordability checks. From the facts I have so far, if they had transferred my account onto their new systems like they have most customers I would be able to do a straightforward product swap, and be able to use internet banking.0

I have had a chat with Halifax customer services, they have said there is nothing they can do other than putting me through the full re-mortgaging process. I explained the inconvenience of having an A/ roll number and they offered me £50 compensation. Better than nothing, but not the result I wanted.0
