  • Wow.  I haven't updated this for almost two years.  After I paid off my student loan, I diligently saved the equivalent of the monthly repayments.  With my increased salary, I also managed to keep within budget since my last entry every single month and started paying more into my SIPP and my savings.  I really don't like my current job, but my savings mean that I can now take some time off and consider options for retraining.  Another diarist on here has inspired me to just quit, so I think I will do that, as I am over worked and stressed and not enjoying what I am currently doing.

    I'm not quite ready to move over to the investment board of MFW yet, but thought that posting might be useful for anyone who is beginning to pay off their debts, as it is motivating to see where good habits get you, even if it takes a long time to get there.
