dull flooring needs a boost and shine

Hi girls and guys I am after some advice if I may ask regarding my flooring. I moved into a flat with this sort of black dull plasticy fake tiled flooring (alot like lino) and no matter which products I use that say they shine they just don't. It's flat dull and looks dusty all the time. What suggestions do you have for me please. I don't mind spending money on it, just so long as it works. Thank you in advance

Could the original surface have worn away or degraded? Is the dullness worse in high traffic areas? I have no idea if you can re-laquer lino.
I've found the best way to clean a floor is on my hands and knees. Try a small patch first to see if it works on your floor. Apply a degreaser, such as cheap Jif cream. Allow to work for 5 mins, the scrub off with a non-stick pan scrubber ( not the harsh green scrubbers as you don't want to scratch the floor). Rinse with a damp clean cloth and clean water. Keep using clean damp cloths, no mucky water! Buff with a micro cloth.0 -
It sounds like the dullness is down to wear and tear and if that is the case there isn't much that you can do about it, but saying that, I use DH's car buffer to get my wooden and laminate floors to shine........Shhhhhhhhh
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

There is an American product called proshot. It is not at all ms Rather pricy but does deliver shine.0
