Can I have it back please
So when you have lost your Mojo is it best to have a break or try to keep plodding on?

Mine has been creeping off for a while too.
I find a couple of days doing something totally different helps.0 -
Hope you get it back soon, We need you on here
Have a rest then come back x 0 -
I think I am just feeling a bit sorry for myself to be honest nanny.
We had to have our dog put to sleep last week, she was a 13 year old Border Collie and she was my baby, and that has hit me really bad
Friday our motorhome failed it's MOT
Yesterday my kettle blew up
I am still comping but my heart just isn't in it at the moment.
I have had 3 small wins so far this month so they will keep me plodding on.
Times like these are sent to try us

Sorry to hear about your dog and the other things that have been going wrong for you.
Everyone is different. When we had upsetting things happen I kept on comping but I have not been comping for very long. You might need a few days break and your mojo will come back.
WEMs certainly perk one up.0 -
Sorry about your pet - it's horrible when they go, they're family.
Better to miss something than be sick of the sight of it, if you're fed up, take a break from it until you get itchy fingers again.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 -
I've taken a step back from it in recent days. I started in January and wasn't hardcore by any means, probably entering around 30-40 a day, mainly web ones with a few twitter ones thrown in. I had a few small early wins (see sig!) but not had anything for a while, understandable really with the number I enter. Just don't feel enthusiatic about it anymore, the inital buzz has gone.
I used to enter ones like mini breaks for my parents but I'm ditching those now and only entering ones that I really want and mainly vouchers/money. I go by the motto of in it to win it and if you don't enter you definitely won't win even if the odds of winning are stacked against you.
Continued good luck to everyone and a huge thanks to all the posters :eek: - Just because I love this emoticon!0 -
We had a collie when I was growing up, it was heartbreaking when he had to be put down. They are such clever and loyal dogs. I don't think it hurts at all to take a break from comping. I sometimes have the odd week where I don't do anything. I still get my odd win here and there.Wins of 20210

Sorry for your loss Mansey
Losing a pet is like losing a family member. I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, budgies, guinea pigs and when one of them passed away he/she was buried in my parents garden and sadly missed. We have a dog now and she is such a companion - she never leaves my side!
I am one of those people who cry watching programmes like Paul O'Grady's For the Love of Pets - I even cried during Emmerdale last week when Marlon's dog was killed!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0
