What do you mean by you "supported a genuine prospect of work" ?
If you simply applied for an advertised vacancy, you may never hear from them again.
If you mean you went to an interview, did you not ask them at that interview?0 -

Sorry OP, you do need to improve your English if you're going to find work here. Have you looked at conversational classes?
In answer to your question, there is no particular deadline for when you will hear back. If you want an update you'll need to call the JCP, no one here can give you an answer, however many times you ask.0 -
Not much genuine prospect of work if you cant write English and be understood.
Stop spamming the boards with the same question.0 -
I assume you mean this assessment - http://www.turn2us.org.uk/information__resources/useful_tools/jargon_buster/genuine_prospect_of_work.aspx
You're supposed to have the interview within the last month of your eligibility for JSA, and one assumes the decision should be made/ communicated within that month.
Obviously it could take more or less time, and so - as has been suggested - you should talk to your advisor at the job centre for an update. That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Check previous letters you have received from DWP.
Is there one where they tell you that you will be going to have this interview re genuine prospect of work, in which they also tell you that your JSA will stop?
That is the decision.0
