I'm looking to buy a property with my new wife.
I have a flat currently with 2 years of a fixed mortgage that a family member is staying in(I pay the mortgage),him and my parents reimburse me.
I have moved into my new wife's home(private rental) as I have 2 kids and she has 1 and house has 3 bedrooms.
We are looking to purchase a property for £93000 with £5000 deposit.
I earn £35000 and she earns £42000 a year.
Halifax has told her they will only offer her a mortgage with 30% deposit on a single application.

What I would like to know, do we have a chance getting a joint 95% mortgage with me having a mortgage?

I have a 999 credit score with a loan currently ongoing and she has a good credit score( can't remember offhand) but had an iva 7 years ago but not showing on credit record.
