Right off on my bike to the brewery.
They have been having D-day celebrations along side their anniversary ones. Went earlier but drove and just had a coke. Going back to sample something stronger.
I may be a bit squiffy when I get back. :rotfl:0 -

A tear in my eye, just bumped into Dina's mum at the supermarket earliler. I told her how sorry I was to hear about Dina's accident.
I came back to see how the facebook page set up for her was going, and coincidence this was published in the Daily Mail today. It was her 21st birthday couple of weeks ago and what a different life than the one she expected ahead of her. :A

I cannot imagine how her mum must have felt that night after reading this article.
I can't imagine either TS:o

Afternoon all, a gale is blowing outside.
Did something very daft this morning, ended up having a fall and ended up turning my foot, manfully limped around all morning but I've now given in to it, confined to the sofa, foot on a cushion with an ice compress, dressing gown and fleece - freezing cold
I can just about put my weight on it and I can wiggle the toes looks a bit swollen but no bruise yet, ankle ok just seems to be the side of the foot, when I was walking around on it it did loosen up a bit but if I am sat for anytime its painful and stiff
I was all for going to a& e but Oh didn't want to spend 5 hours waiting around and I didn't really want to come away bandaged up or having a foot in plaster for months - difficult baths and showers, no weekends away, using a stick etc
Just have to see what happens now.
Not taken any pain killers - my thinking is if I don't feel the pain I will keep walking on it - feel a bit queasy and sleepy - didn't bang my head though, feeling very sorry for myself
Hope everyone is having a better Saturday :j
Ouch mhoc. I hope resting it lessened the pain. Take it easy.
Good evening all. I've spent several hours moving furniture around today (as is my wont) only to decide it looked better where it was, so moved it back! At least I got a workout.
Well done Sarahdol. I will head to your donation page immediately!“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -
