so sad of the news of the passing of Charles Kennedy but horrified at Alex Sammond's comments  - what a nasty vile man
I was a huge admirer of Charles Kennedy, since being a teenager. I read Alex Salmond's comments however and I didn't read them as nasty at all. Completely in character for him...yes but I didn't read anything nasty, and I'm no great fan of his I might add.
It seems to have been blown out of proportion and turned into a frenzy on all the good old social media sites.
Or maybe people just read things differently.0 -
Sepp Blatter has announced he is resigning ...will take effect when they elect a new President, likely later this year.

Is anyone else having trouble signing into sada grocery online account0
-
Thats why, i have mentioned it before:o they get taken away when you extend them, sorry:(
It is not consistent though as I rolled some for months before placing a new order and they didn't disappear. Then, a few weeks after placing an order a batch disappeared.
Very annoying - not worth keeping evouchers, may as well spend them to be on the safe side (though there is something satisfying generating vouchers with vouchers and very little cash spent).

£30 of vouchers have disappeared from my account today, and no new ones arrived yet
They were not due to expire until next week and the others are still there, so I don't understand what is happening.
Thank you, all. Mine have all arrived now too and the left-over one which was extended is still there so I don't know what has happened for you Minihauk. So sorry. And I had no problems logging in.0 -
So these Amex cards most of them have an annual fee then. I mean the best ones with the offers.?
Sorry for the delay in replying as I have been working. Many Amex have an annual fee (some don't like Basic) but check for the special promotions (so for example Gold Card is £125 per year, but regularly they have the first year free and also bonus points if you hit a minimum spend).
The other offers I referred to - £5 on £20 B00ts, £5 on £10 spend at Post Office etc - appear on most of the different account types, fee paying or not, though some are account specific (and never clear why one account gets them and others don't). Lloyds and Barclaycard Amex get to play on most of the offers too but rather than clicking on the offer in your Amex online account, like Nectar or Gold, you have to enrol for the offer through another website http://cardmemberoffers.co.uk/ and not all offers always appear at all/at the same time (so B00ts is there but not Post Office at present). They sometimes use FourSquare app for the offers too.

Well, I have just ordered the new element for my oven, so will have it fully running again before I have to cook another Sunday lunch. Fortunately we are out for Sunday lunch this weekend
The great thing is I suddenly realised that I can quite happily do without a big oven apart from on a Sunday. If the kids had still been at home things would be different. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
