I do get these occasions where, although there is no good comparison vs elsewhere, buying in M is said to be cheaper if you take into account a "More" points offer there. (I always put the word "More" in quotes as it's their word and I'm therefore using it as a term of art. It means that I am not implying any agreement or disagreement with it by myself - but by avoiding using the word More without the quotes means I'm not automatically accepting that it does give you anything "more". It's a clever word on their part, IMO, that tries to get me to admit that they are giving you more, but, in my use of the quotes, I give no view on whether they are or are not by my avoiding being drawn into this trap.)
    --snip--

Perhaps we should refer to them as "Less" points as your usually getting less for your money

I did notice in M yesterday the double deckers 3(+1free) packs for £1, no more points on but if they match A's 2 for £1.50 then potentially 8 bars for £1.50  ...the BC was different to the straight 3 bar packs though and I wasn't spending £15 to test it.

This is probably one from last week, but I see it wasn't on the M list:

Quorn Pepper Steaks (2 pack - 196g) are 2 for £4 in A! Way to go:rotfl::rotfl::eek:, in other words NOT, as they were £1 straight in A before. Therefore, unless there's a glitch at hand (and it seems not), just buy a single one pack at £2.50 (no need to buy and spend more at 2) and vs M at £1.24. Still not as good as previous price in A (that may be why they weren't on the list but lower weight Lamb Grills were and, on that basis, Pepper Steaks should definitely be on the list) but assuming they compare correctly somewhat better than paying £2 each for two and claiming no voucher off your next shop back.

That is a lovely sentiment Danes. This sort of thing comes around on this thread in regular waves though. We get AEs, personal insults, someone reporting every thing a certain person posts.......nothing will stop it. I've been on the receiving end of it as have many others.

The truth is we are one thread amongst hundreds on this site. And as special and cosy at it might feel to us......it is just another thread to police for the forum team. I've said this before.......go and have a look on some other threads, such as the benefits thread and you will see something that is nowhere near as soft and fluffy as we are here.

It isn't nice but it will always come...and go...and come back again. Buy a surf board and ride the waves :D because they'll always be there ;)

Hi, havent caught up yet so bear with:D
FC,..I gree with your post but , because of the unfairness of this, and because one of the posts was about me, surely the forum team should be asking my op to some extent, and if im not in the least offended then that post should be disregarded.
I know this is a big forum and the team is small...but it doesnt mean I, peraonally can stand back and let unfair stuff like this happen.i will always try to support everyone because I like to think that ppl on here are my vitual friends, so I must stand up and be counted.thats how I am, alittle too passionate at times but try to rein it in.
Hopefully if more ppl contact the forum team about unfair stuff, it gives them a chance to make the forum better, and to spot the real trolls and weed them out quicker, then hopefully ppl like DAVID will not get lumped in with the rest.
if they take no notice then its up to them, but at least I know I tried.
on a lighter note, salwag is going for her booster today instead of thursday, bless her.vet always seems to find something to dispense a prescription for so usally its a dear visit.paws crossed :A
back to a little lite reading,:rotfl:
People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with :)

    A few cheapies :)

    JQsRboH.png

Where's the cheapy? To take them in reverse, it just shows how expensive A's mbuy (multispend) is - weren't these 97p in A before? Was 97p, now you're a mug - buy two at £2 each!!

The Persil Small & Mighty 40 is now, potentially (if they pick up M's price correctly), much better now the prices are reversed:j:j:beer:. We need some idiot to buy them in A on wombles. Watch them buy the 25 wash instead though, now that seems cheaper in A:(. Oh - surprise - they are £6.78 in A:T - could be alright even if comparing at full price vs full price:wall: rather than against an M offer anymore and may help the Avs S comp. even though not as good as the 40 wash Avs M. This is about wombles, I don't expect anybody here to buy either of them (unless prices instore are favourable in A but full prices are got to appear...)!

As for the Simple wipes, I'll leave off commenting adversely about those, as there may be a way to get them quite cheap.
