    Morning all

I've not had chance to get on for a few days. Went for a rather raucous hen do on Friday. Started at 5.30 in the afternoon and I didn't get home until 2am  Saturday I managed a lie in :T We had tickets that I bought for DH for Valentines Day for a comedian at a nearby theatre. Got a message that he'd been taken ill and it was cancelled :( We'd got a babysitter though so had a lovely meal out :)
Yesterday I was working - kept me out of mischief
Results should be out today for my CPD course so fingers firmly crossed :)
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥

We are reaching the end of the seasons for all my favourite series - Blacklist finished on Friday, Stalker last Monday, Criminal Minds tomorrow and I think NCIS LA tonight :(.

I have recently found Madam Secretary as a new series on Sky Living catch up and still have repeats to keep me happy as well as NCIS on Fox, CSI etc so all is not lost :). Plus we get various box sets on Virgin Media and Enterteinment pack on NowTV with Vodafone.

I will survive until January for the new seasons ... possibly.

    Hi Durham
I'm doing C25K too. I'm on week 7 this week, but depending on which C25K Free App you have, watch out for Week 5!
Week 5 Day 1 and Day 2 say 5 mins walk, 8 mins run x 1 repeat. Which was OK and do able.
Then Week 5 Day 3 changed to walk for 5mins, run for 20mins!
I was in shock and stopped running at 11 mins as I thought I had picked the wrong week. Turns out the App I was using is not the same as what our trainer in person does. However quite a few in our group (week 1 there were 93 starters, now in week 7 we have about 50) accidentally ran 20 mins so on Week 6 our trainer made us do 25 mins with no stopping. WE DID IT THOUGH. On sat which was week 7 Day 1 we ran for 32 mins AND MOST OF US MANAGED.
I've so far managed to keep my pace to just above walking and do not take long strides. I had never run (apart from some attempts to catch a bus 20 years+ or more).
I'm thinking whether or not I manage to be able to run for the length of time needed to do a 5K, if I can run for 30mins with ease 3 times a week that's got to be much better than coming home from work, and sitting at the computer/ watching TV.
HOPE YOU SUCCEED IN REACHING WHATEVER YOUR PERSONAL GOAL IS.

I am doing Week 5 Day 3 tomorrow but didn't think that was an error in the app, believed it was the correct format.

Mind you my Day 2 that I did yesterday was 8 mins running and not 5 like yours was. I am determined to complete the 20 mins as Logie inspired me the other day :)

Good morning elite. RL been hectic this last week so haven't been around much but have managed to catch up in full.

Happy Belated 70th Nanny, it sounds like you had a much deserved fab weekend.

1st June and the weather isn't looking good, good old British Summer :)

Talking of missing people, how long was Poppypopster on holiday for, feels like forever, and SFSB. Hope we haven't lost all our members to another secret group :rotfl:

    Have a good one all.

    Morning all,

As it's the 1st June I've claimed online apgs that I was waiting on. Usually the new month starts on the first but today I claimed 52.00 and it said I was at my 100.00 limit and therefore they would send 51.00. Only lost a quid on that which is fine but I'm at a loss now as to when I can claim again. Any advice welcome. It was on the new apg.

Thanks and have a lovely day x

Just bringing this over from the freebies thread...thanks to molly dolly who posted it there...

I hope it might be of use maybe to a few here who are london based
Just had this email land in my junk, they are looking for Londoners, thought someone may be interested.

It’s been a while since you heard from us here at Social Soup, but we’re getting things moving again in the UK. We’re kicking off with a project specifically for Londoners, so was hoping you might be able to help us find them.

For this project, we need people with:
A passion for all things food and wine
Between the ages of 28 and 47
If you know anyone in London who considers themselves somewhat of a foodie, please send them either this email or the link below.
    http://surveys.socialsoup.co.uk/foodiesurvey

Thanks for helping out and fingers crossed we can get you on a project soon.

    The Social Soup Team.

They got a funky new website too....
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

Thank to H4P, new Amex offer, spend £10 and get £5 back at the Post Office instore only. Stamps or One4all gift cards seem appropriate ...

Also a reminder there is the £5 back on £20 spend in B00ts - I found new 3V instore yesterday :).

    Hth
