I can't answer that now but as it scanned for 2p on cc, I would think so. I am going tomorrow morning to see what my local has in stock. ;)

    Evening all

Missed most of the weekend, but just wanted to pop on a wish Nanny a very happy birthday, sounds like you've had a fab weekend :)

Can I ask why or would that be TMI? ;)

Does anyone know if you can spend next gift cards online please?

I'm having to spend about £150 there, and looking for the best way.

Tomorrow is dd1 birthday and as part of her pressie I have been doing lots of pots for her garden some with veggies and some flowers . grow most of the flowers but neededsome marigolds so got 2 ttrays of 10 from HB for 99p each.
Left them in the middle of my garden by sun dial. While I popped out. Came home and ds2 goes we planted those flowers for you. They thought I wanted them around the sundial and lifted a ring of turf and planted all of them there.:rotfl: I did not have the heart to tell them they were for dd1 as they wete so pleased with themselves. and I have to admit they look nice there:D

Hello Elite new and old :D:D:D

Hope all are healthy and happy:A

After some help with further education .....DS has just graduated but wants to change direction completely.......better now than when he is 40 and has years of regret eh?:rotfl::rotfl::cool::cool:

He wants to do a masters neuropsychology:eek: this is not news to me as it's always been his hobby and he has not enjoyed the last three years at uni studying a completely unrelated subject and can't stand the thought of spending the rest of his life in an industry which he has no interest in!

So ......with a 2:1 in an unrelated subject he could get onto the masters course he really wants to do...........except he has to meet requirements for statistics & research methods in social sciences.........this masters course has bursary as it's a transition period for funding of masters courses but only for the year 15/16.....which would save him £££££££'s as non repayable....and it's fairly local...so do any of you lovely people know how on earth he could access a suitable course to give him the statistics and research methods ???

A very long shot I know but seriously the elite are such a diverse group I was hoping that one of you had knowledge in this area!!

many thanks in advance ...........you can all get back to glitching now:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hey CS :A
Don't know if you got an answer to this and don't know if I can give you a full one based on what you've posted :o

If a Masters Degree requires you to have statistics and research methods it would normally require you to have done a term in each for a degree in the same discipline. You haven't said what his degree is in? If it's a totally different discipline then usually two terms of a joint stats and research course (as part of a degree) will be acceptable.
Did he do any stats or research as part of his original degree?......I can't guess without knowing what he was studying.

You can do Stats and research courses but they are generally year-long courses which would negate his transitional bursary for this year for the masters course :( These bursaries are making this year a good one for anyone who wants to do a Masters degree.

If he does want to go on to any sort of post grad course at all I'd highly recommend he get stats and research under his belt anyway. It's always a hidden door for the future ;) most post grad courses now have it as a requirement.

I hope you get sorted.....if you haven't fallen asleep before getting to the end of my post :D :rotfl::rotfl:
