:hello: I should have popped in earlier but I had visitors - and was then watching the two cup finals - not been shopping today although I have one of my bigger APGs from several weeks ago that I have been struggling to spend. I've decided to target Sains. on the TMF Birdseyes - as I'm now ending up doing a new shop and have already bought out anything good vs S - very little unfortunately - I'm going down the Haribo route for fillers as just nothing good enough.

I notice that the SP Spaghetti Loops have gone up:(. Now 19p, whilst the 'ordinary' Spaghetti tins remain at 16p (itself a price increase from their low of 13p). I think they've obviously looked at their own data, which shows SP Loops N/A against everywhere so they can simply put their price up. Would still be 'better' though, than losing on 16p vs actually it's 25p not 35p S on the 'ordinary' Spaghetti.

I notice the big price increase on the supposedly "Smart" (clearly for them) pricey items is on the 'fresh' Spaghetti - now 35p:eek: but of no effect I hope as still vs 20p T or M. Maybe this is A trying to offset its price reduction to 42p on the Cheese Slices. They 'give' with one hand - only to take away even more elsewhere:(. In this case, 8p reduction from more regular 50p price on the SP Cheese Slices, but 15p increase on the Spaghetti! But, really no excuse for these unilateral price increases.

SP Pasta Shapes (500g) have also gone up to 35p, but I hope should be vs 29p M price. Northern Ireland excluded - I think they go, slightly not as good, vs T.

And...wait for it... here's another increase... huge mark-up on this now:eek::eek:: the Barr Irn Bru 8 pack cans have gone up from £1.92 to £4.19:eek: (are we sure there's no mbuy on that?) although they are still £1.87 for M, but no guarantees on anything. According to the price graph on the Sugar Free on msm, £4.19 is the highest price we have ever seen! I don't know what these price graphs represent though and I don't trust them for accuracy, as that one shows the product as having gone up from £2.50 but this is clearly untrue because I am increasing them from £1.92 on the M list, which I took clearly from msm correctly last time. Don't ever try to mislead an Asperger:D, as they will call you out on the correct historical facts each time which no-one else would remember!

According to the heading to the graphs, they are supposed to be the "Average price in the UK" - presumably therefore an average across stores and not the specific retailer that you are looking at anymore, yet, on the A side of msm, they have the current price showing as £4.19 - which is the A current price - and clearly can't be an average as that would include £4.19 A and £1.87 M which would drag the average down somewhat below £4.19 so I don't think it can be an average in the UK when it's showing £4.19! But certainly do not trust the graph suggesting they've increased from £2.50 to £4.19, when in fact they've gone up from £1.92 to £4.19.

Anyway, I'm no longer frowning about a £1.92 on them, instead I'm jumping around about a much nicer £4.19 - as long as they compared vs M - which would help get rid of higher value vouchers as well as giving a much nicer APG, although 10% off £1.87 is pretty rich:eek: so not even worth bothering with(:rotfl:).

    Was £1.92, now £4.19 - and inflation's supposedly 0%!
