Morning luvlies, the sun has got his hat on is morning, beautiful day.

I was making a cup of tea earlier and putting some bits in the kitchen bin from DH's sofa picnic last night, when from on the decking outside I thought I saw Stanley waiting to be let in. I saw ginger fur, took the back door key off the side and went to unlock the door, only it wasn't Stanley, it was a lovely little fox. Not a cub, larger than that but only small and guess what - it had no tail. Just a little stump bless it. I actually caught myself saying out loud, 'oh you've got no tail, where's your tail gone?' It ran away towards the bottom of the garden as I opened the door.

I've just googled can a fox be born without a tail and it only comes up with Aesop fable. I'm just wondering, as it was quite tame, if it's been treated for an injury and released back into the wild.

Anyway he or she was a lovely little thing
