    Do you have a 'country baskets' near you? They were originally a florist supplies cash and carry, but anyone can sign up (they are available on line too) they certainly have buttons and ribbon and most probably a staple gun. They often have those quirky things they sell in garden centres for a fraction of the retail cost..

    PS our local also has a fab , cheap cafe too.
