    Morning all. :)

Table plan is pen and inked. No changing it now.

Big thanks to Anon for doing the 11+ test on our behalf. :T

Oooh sounds like he a test for us. :rotfl:

If only we had cottoned on to this earlier. Still hopefully a bit of fun can be had while the Old is still here.

11 + I done that years ago to get into high school (and passed)- but thank you Anon.
Just catching up from last nights antics- oh what fun you must have all had:j I wish I had been around then, it was round about the time both my Ds + DD married in consecutive years so money was always a bit tight - I was then into couponing as best I could and working every hour god sent :to make ends meet.
But at least I've found you now:grouphug:

Do you have a Yorkshire building society close by?

Is your house and buildings insurance due for renewal some time soon?

If so ring and make an appointment for next week for a quote - it takes about 20 mins - they are not on comparison sites.

I went to update my passbooks yesterday (- transferred my fixed rate ISA there) and the girl said that next week they have a new promotion starting - after 3 months you get £50 cashback and its backed by sunlife etc. I don't know if it will be any cheaper but its worth a try ...

This is what I am supposed to be doing now instead of loitering, making an excel charge and getting my quotes in some order so I am ready when I go for my appointment.

YBS still do a regular savings account - £250 a month and ongoing but sadly its only paying 2% now - still its better than nothing and more than most places. I set up a SO from the main current account. You get a passbook which I update a few times a year.
I set mine up in October 2013 so mine is still paying the old 3% interest rate :j

01274 353228 is the main switch board number if you don't want to use the 0845 number
