Everyone playing writes their name on the back of every ticket they play that night, they go into a box & one is drawn out at the end of the night & the winner has a cash prize :)

Rhos....I noticed in T yesterday that there are lots of black ties at the moment as its "ball" season....they had a few bow ties but plenty of standard"funeral type" too....is it an option to pop to T

failing that do you have a charity shop near, plenty actually keep a stock of black ties "out back" as its considered to be an item thats frequently requested...
Other than that....how about the neighbours...yep I know you were directed that way for the protractor ...but it might be worth a shot unless they are also all attending
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

Have you got a tumble dryer OR can you borrow use of one?

Use for up to 4 garments.
You can pick up a black tie too. :)

The tumble drier sheets don't do a 'proper' dry cleaning job but will freshen items up.
IF your daughter pops to the charity shop it might very well be worth while asking if they have a steamer that they use on clothes? If they do (I believe most do) it may be worth asking if they could possibly steam hubby's suit.
Years ago, when I bought dry clean only clothes, (I don't now if I can help it) I used to have a travel steamer which after 'dry cleaning' in tumble dryer I used to steam any creases out. You can do the same with a good steam iron. The travel one was meant to steam on hanger.
