Haven't been around for a few weeks, been on holiday and then not been very well.
Anyway my sister ( fernie1), just told me the sad news about princess melody, so just coming to pay my respects.
    RIP MELODY, so sad

I know - how very dare they take back vouchers from us - very bad form!

I lost considerably more than you mention above but I suspect I may be like others on here who have gained the online vs RTC bonus so difficult to complain :o.

I do wonder though if it is an error on the system somewhere or whether they are cancelling/withdrawing vouchers ...? If the latter, I may have expected more to also get cancelled ... .

    Anon

I haven't contacted A about this cos I don't want them to start looking too closely at my shenanigans ! But I don't think its quite as clear cut as old same value vouchers as new ones getting their dates apparently changed but still expiring on their old dates IYSWIM - I had previously extended all my vouchers including 3 £20 ones becuse I couldn't tell which of the £20 ones was new and which was old. I know that 2 of them were old and 1 was new. Only 1 £20 vouched was nicked back - if it was the date issue then I should have lost 2 of them.

Anyway, I used them all earlier this week so there was nothing left for them to nick back. I've got more evouchers on my account from that shop - and its several £'s more than I should have got if the monthly limit is working - I had expected to get a reduced amount. There seem to be various peculiarities with them at the moment.

Has deedee gone on holiday ? not seen her post for a while

DeeDee posted on the alphabettys yesterday. I think she may have been upset by some of the posts when things were getting a bit heated last week. If you are lurking DeeDee please do not be put off by the ill thought out comments of a few individuals made in the heat of the moment. You are a vital part of this thread and we miss you:(

So pleased to hear your good news FC, excellent news on your results :T

I think some one said the other day to chuck some items in your basket to take the spend higher add vouchers then remove said item... Say for example a bottle of champagne :)

Yep, that was me. Threw a bottle of vodka in my online basket to take the value to a decent amount. Added all the e vouchers I wanted to use then removed the vodka. Worked a treat :D

Can any elite please help me navigate the mighty deals website. I wish I hadn't ordered! Redeemed my voucher on saturday and still not had my email. Same with oh but he has had email this morning saying it is on it way. I am trying to raise a ticket for my complaint but can find how to do this. I am sure one of you will have had problems as well with this awful company. I should have learned my lesson after the shell deal but cannot resist a bargain. Thank you.

Have you tried looking in 'my account' once logged in to the MD site. Mine were sitting there and I didn't receive a a confirmation email. Another thing to bear in mind is you need to activate the voucher after inputting the code. HTH

sorry it's me again, I've seen people talk about buying 11 of other things, can someone explain what happens when you buy 11. Thanks in advance :)

I think Anon answered this. Just remember if it's RTC and comparing favourably elsewhere, only buy 11, NOT 10 or 12, just 11 plus your fillers.

I'm trying to create some room in one of my freezers for the Haagan Dazs which is RTC in my store (I posted about this yesterday) as there's a whole shelf full instore.

Sorry the go cat wasn't reduced in your store :(

  • Woo hoo - My Cissus has arrived from Amazon!:T:T
I took 2 about an hour ago & just stood up to go make a coffee. My back vertebrae snapped, as they normally do, BUT no shooting pains! I don't believe it! Haven't got up without feeling really bad shooting pains for weeks & weeks. My right shoulder doesn't seem quite so painful but my left one is still painful. I'd read that some find relief as soon as 1hr after taking while others do after 2-3 weeks. Is this the placebo effect or real? I'll keep you all informed on whether this works or not - I've got lots (too many) of painful joints/muscles to test it on, as does hubby. If I forget to mention (unlikely) ask me again in 2 weeks if you're suffering too. I've got up 3-4 times since - snapping but no pain:eek: OMG!

    Morning everyone.

Sorry I missed the raise a glass to Princess Melody, it has been a upsetting time here for a few days aswell. My thoughts are with princess melody daughter and the lovely family she has left behind.

My DS1 came home from school on Monday and told me a lad who is a few years older than him committed suicide at the weekend, he has just started at uni and got into some spiritual sort of thing, not sure what but decided to take his own life, just turned 18 :(

Then DS2 came home from school yesterday a girl in his class, dad died suddenly she found him when went home from school, how awful, the child was only 12 :(

    :(
How awful for your Sons Sarah. Sending hugs to your family and condolences to the families of those two poor people xxx

The Alphabettys are in need of an 'H' if anyone fancies popping over to say hello. Thank you.:)
