Morning,
sorry if i'm butting in but I purchase blackout linings from Dunelm yesterday, only costing £9.99.
I hung them yesterday and last nights sleep was much better.
I think the secret is to buy them to fit the width of the window without as much fullness as the curtains, this seems to allow them to fit more flush, blocking out more light, imo.

To all waiting for Achica orders, mine just arrived so I have no idea what cancellation emails and refunds meant and I'm not going to question it at all.

Bit of a strange question please, but I seem to remember someone recommending blackout blinds a while back, I think it may have been tweets and the someone else bought them and said they were really good just wondering if anyone happens to re member r can recommend any? Really need to get some for dd's room she keeps waking too early with the bright mornings. Tia x
if there are only for a childs room (rather than a designer pad), try spraying water on the window & carefully place black sacks on the window, works a treat esp as a stop gap.essex girl in exile0 -

I hated the guy for the way he treated Nikkilala.
However, after the way Lala treated me I think she quite deserved it.
Bring back French Knickers!!
Please hc, stop with the personal attacks.
I'd like to see more of the old funny you, that a lot of people loved and cared for.N1LDA0 -

Fab, thanks tweets. They would ideal for my room actually  Back to the search for DD's room now :rotfl:Not strange at all, light nights and mornings are a nightmare. "It isn't bedtime as it is still light" is not helpful at night or very early morning during summertime!
Arg0s sell some blackout roller blinds that are quite easy to fit - we then leave the curtains up to cover both ends or light can sneak in around the side (or maybe I just got the wrong size). I saw online somewhere you can get made to measure blackout material that you then velcro around the window (no gaps!) but it depends on your decor if this would suit.

That might be quite good actually Anon, would be fine for in DD's. Def going to check that out too.

BTS, if you are reading this please stop and think. I have put you on ignore, I used to love your posts but I simply cannot take anymore of this spoilt child thing you have got going on. Accept what has happened and move on, you cannot blame this on your aspergers, I know a few people with aspergers and they do not lower themselves using personal attacks on people when they cannot get their way. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Right so I took the COS app off my phone and then tried to reload it but it now says I need 10S8 to download
so I googled this as my phone says I am up to date with updates and Ive got a help sheet but I am already stuck as it says to plug the phone into the computer so I have to look for the right bit of wire now somewhere in the house ..
meantime I am backing up to the icloud if I can remember my apple id - all other passwords I've got on RoboForm but not the apple id I might have to ring OH
