Welfare covers a wide range of things, not just disability or JSA. Tax Credits, Family Allowance, etc etc. If you had read any of my posts this last few days, the welfare drum isn't the only drum I've been banging.

Those that went to George Square have what's called humanity. ;)

I get that you are passionate about your cause but I wish someone would confiscate your drumsticks

You have no idea what people on here think because very few have said. You're angry about the election result? Fine.....stop taking it out on people here. Maybe it's not what you are saying but they way you are saying it and the fact that your spamming this thread up with YOUR opinion. And that's all it is, an opinion. We all have them and we're entitled to have our own ones.

If you want to go on about this stuff then why don't you find a platform full of like minded people to do it on? There are plenty of them. You've said yourself plenty of times, people here aren't interested? You're right......they aren't.

    Humanity ?

Words fail at your description. The most human folk there were the council workers, police and ambulance crews who clear up the mess.

Besides a lot easier to put a tiny little cross in a box and let our democratically elected government do their job

Why don't you run in the next local election if you feel so serious about it. And we will wait for baited breath on how you are going to make everyones life better.

Stand up and be publically counted and scrutised.

So easily to come on and fling insults anonymously you're "well hard"

I think there are many of the Elite who despite their home circumstances are indeed "quick to donate to charity for the less privileged in other countries"

But the Elite also concentrate a great deal of their time and/or their resources on helping those closer to home -we don't forget those less privileged on our own doorsteps
    - eg by donating to food banks, charity shops, clothing banks, local hospitals and schools etc -

! We are quick to donate to charity for the less privileged in other countries but when it comes to the less privileged in this country most seem to not mind . :(
    QUOTE]
And just what good is that? A little bit of a donation to help yourself feel better after voting Tory or for letting them back in by not voting at all. Please!!

The colours on b00ts are misleading here is a better colour chart.

I did have the nude vibrato in my basket but have stepped away, I really do not need any lipstick and not from my favourite company to be honest. :o

Politics effects each and everyone of us. Some it hurts, some it helps. People that don't give a carp, or don't vote or don't research the parties properly really get on my tits. You might be privileged enough to ignore what's happening. Good for you! We are quick to donate to charity for the less privileged in other countries but when it comes to the less privileged in this country most seem to not mind kicking them down by voting Tory or not doing their bit to keep the Tories out. It's really quite sad really. :(

"The Tories are doing what? Oh what's that you say, there's a Sanex glitch on? Better grab my coat!"

    !!!!!!!!!

    :rotfl: You're joking right?

Are you aware that some of us regularly donate and volunteer for the Trussell Trust and the Red Cross, based in the UK I might add? If I participate in a glitch I make sure that some of it makes its way to the food bank whether it be Sanex, food, cleaning supplies or tampons. Don't assume to know what people do with their finds nor make them justify what they need it for.

I suggest you find a forum better suited to your agenda rather than incessantly bombarding one geared towards finding bargains. This thread is a valuable resource to some of us, to help us make the most of the little we have. If you can't see that you're adding to the problem.
