It is very sad but being female and a high achiever increases the risk of anxiety/depression.

DS3 girlfriend has had depression and panic attacks for a few years, and she is becoming increasingly dependent on him (obv. SSM worries about this).

There is even talk (from her mum) of her not going to uni. Her father is not pleased, he has her going to one of the posh Universities. My suggestion was that she went to the local uni.... well that went down a storm!

I would rather like her to go away to uni, it is the natural order of things, and she will out grow her parents and him and he can stop being a crutch! (God I sound like a b*tch) I do like her, but really the whole family are rather looney....and controlling!
