Win From Indigo Memoirs But Suspicious

Options
Received an email on Friday afternoon that said I won a competition ending 29/04. Here it is -
Hi there,

We're pleased to announce that you are the prize winner of
an
Indigo Memoirs
competition. Many congratulations!

Please respond within 24 hours of this email to claim your
prize. We
will then inform you of your prize and subsequently pass on your
details to the competition host.
If you do not reply within 24 hours we will have to award the prize
to someone else.

Please send us your personal Twitter handle or your Facebook name
in your reply so we can announce you as the winner.

As per the terms and conditions,
you may be
required you to pick up the prize from the host in London
directly.
Please confirm whether you can do this, otherwise we may have
to
award the prize to someone else.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Best wishes,

Sam

I happened to be checking my emails at the time and so responded immediately. However, I've still not been emailed back with my prize win. It's the most annoying thing ever! Ruined the excitement of having a winner tbh. I've done a quick search to try and identify all the competitions ending on that date. I'm sure of the ones I would have entered but only 2 are worth travelling to London for... which I completely missed in the print. Here's hoping for the best.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with them? Did they actually email back?

Sat and Sun don't usually count as working days and assuming you mean last Friday afternoon then it hasn't even been 24 hours yet.

It's been over 24 hours + the weekend. It doesn't actually say they take 24 hours to email back.. confirmation would be nice seeing as they quickly offer to someone else. I understand it's still early but the weekend feels no different to any other day. I'd prefer to know what it was and for them to take time. I'm simply venting frustration..not reporting a scam.

Hi, I had a similar email and actually won a prize, I was a but suspicious at first as it did not state what I had won, but they emailed me back the next day to confirm my prize.

They are a real company, I have won prizes from them twice, good luck, hope you receive a response.

I don't enter any Indigo memories ones as they are all London based competitions and i'm too far away.

  • Yeah they are legit, I remember the Sam name from my two wins with them. I've won a physical thing (posh sunglasses) and an event thing (reflexology in London) Congrats! :D
