Tan lines

So i've been made aware that i have a lovely racer strap white lines on my back and i'm wearing a bridemaids dress in july which shows them off beautifully and the bride has asked can i try and have them slightly less obvious.

This is from when i went out last summer for an hour to paint the decking and got burnt

I don't like the idea of sun beds, plus i imagine that i need to then try and sun cream the not white lines to try and match it up, can i have some more suggestions please?

Presuming there was ever sunshine you could try a gradual exposure strategy - obviously you won't want to get burnt again but even being in the sun for half an hour or so a few times might well even it out a good bit. You could use a low spf if you were really worried about getting burnt again. Otherwise what about a spray tan?

Fake tan? I'm not an expert as I'm not keen on them myself but perhaps a spray tan would help even it out.

I've found that spray tanners will not just do the white lines. They want to do the whole body - at full price of course!
I'd get a friend to rub fake tan just on the lines - a little each day till those areas match the rest of you.....!

I'll try with the fake tan next month and if its ever sunny going out in a strapless top and see what happens in the mean time. Thank you all
  • Seems a bit overly critical of the friend. Maybe if she's that bothered, she can buy you the spray tan / gradual daily self-tan cream?!

If it makes her happy I dont mind. As shes got me the dress and shoes, paying for my hair and make up, and hotel.... I dont mind this lttle thing. I didnt even realise I still had such a tan on my bike.

Try tanning wipes, they're only £1.

Sally Hansen spray stuff that's for legs should work, it covers bruises so should cover tan lines, you can get it from Boots etc. You can buy a small bottle of spray tan solution for pennies and apply yourself with a mitt, no need for a big spend from this company https://www.spraytanpro.co.uk/product/siennasol-bronze-8-10-dha-spray-fake-tan I would recommend the product I have linked to for your issue. Foundation or bronzer on the day if your stuck, even the right shade eye shadow would lessen the contrast, have a good day :)

Defo go for the fake tan option and get a friend/family member to rub it into the lines for you.

I use St. Moritz and find it's great. You put it on, leave it develop over night and then wash it off.

I would recommend that you try it as soon as possible though so you know if it works for you or not!
