Pro rataWages query please

Hi, I work in a primary school full time & I know my pro rata wage. How can I work this out to find out my pay scale which is not pro rata'd ? I have a list of council pay scales but as I say they are not based on a prorata school salary. Any help greatly appreciated!

You would need to know how many hours per week you work (and if you're term-time only but paid the same throughout the year, how many weeks that's based on and scale it up to a full year). Then you need to know how many hours per week a full-time person works.

Would it be simpler to ask your employer?

Yes and no, I'm paid through my employer as its a catholic school but they are paid by council to pay me so to speak so it's a bit long winded. Just thought there'd be an easy/quickerway to find out online

    Thanks though

you say full time so at a guess would be

    full rate = pro rata*52/(weeks worked*1.1207)

if thye are using statutory holiday pay.

That gives holiday pay but not a conversion from the part-time salary to the scale point the OP is on? Are you answering the wrong post?

I'm confused, if you work full time then your wage will be the full time one, not a pro-rata one. If you want an answer to your question you're going to need to tell us a lot more about your employment.

I just assumed term time which is a form of part time and often prorata rates are used.
