Do Joint A/C's still require 2 DD's

Hi, My wife and I both have the Halifax current a/c and have both received the switching bonus but I believe we can have a joint a/c to recieve another £5 a month but does this joint a/c also require 2 DD's in order to pay out each month?
Also depending on the answer is this the same case for all the current a/c's that offer 4% or 5% savings such as Lloyds etc where you can also have a joint a/c? we both have Flex Direct a/c's with a joint a/c as well but these don't require the DD's.
